Also study by a dentistry school in the Philippines, compared various commercial toothpaste brands with their own compounded toothpaste from eggshells. It was concluded that over time, the teeth cleaned using the eggshell toothpaste had less plaque build-up and contains stronger enamel. This is because eggshells have calcium and other trace minerals, which are important for a healthy enamel, thus preventing cavities.
