Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Ingredients:
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup diced carrots
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced white or yellow onion
1 diced green bell pepper
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 head of cabbage, chopped
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2-3 cloves minced garlic
14 oz can basil, oregano, garlic diced tomatoes
Black pepper
½ teaspoon salt (optional)

Directions:
1. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in medium heat.
2. Add onions, celery, carrots and bell peppers. Saute until slightly tender and put the garlic.
3. Pour in chicken broth. Then the cabbage and tomatoes. Bring to a boil, while reducing heat.
4. Cook until cabbage is tender. Put in the basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt (optional) and black pepper.
5. Taste the soup and adjust seasoning if needed.
