1. Abdominal Exercises

Most abdominal exercises, just like crunches, twists and sit-ups are going to do nothing other than place undue stress on your spine and neck. They may also increase your risk of spinal injuries, poor posture and muscle inflammation.

2. Cardio Exercises

Cardio can be helpful, if done properly, but it does nothing to slow the aging process. If you do long frequent cardio sessions, it will break down your muscles and increase the production of free radicals.  These free radicals damage the cells in your body and accelerate aging.

3. Crunches

Crunches are included in the exercises that age you. You do not have to rely too much on crunches to get rid of belly fat and get abs.

Instead of doing all sorts of crunches, you need to pay more attention to your diet. What you will consume will help you burn fat, not crunches.

4. Yoga

Yoga has been around for years and it is still around because it is very effective in improving your mind-body connection, inner consciousness and spiritual health. But, it should not be considered as an effective form of exercise.

Some yoga movements are difficult and physically challenging. But yoga lacks the necessary components to to build lean muscle, stimulate your body, burn fat and trigger your youth-enhancing hormones to help slow aging. Yoga can calm your mind and improve your flexibility, but it will not stimulate your “youth” hormones.

Weightlifting is good for many things, but it is not the best way to keep yourself young and fit. You will be putting your tendons and muscles under serious stress, which may lead to injuries, and can age you quickly.
